In our first home we built a half bath when we finished our basement. My husband has always spent most of his free time in his “man cave” so it was used a lot. When we moved our new home has a full bath down there and since we both shower at night we don’t have to share. He uses I every day. I don’t think you could go wrong adding a shower.

Okay had to stop the video when I saw the nest . You don't want to have that on your table or in your house at all ...I wouldn't even touch it .
Last year we got some nests and eggs on our patio and we thought it was really cute but what came with it was bird mites, it's awful, you can not see them at all but you can feel them and a year later still trying go reduce them weekly
Not being a Debbie downer but birds carry numerous infections and that's on your kitchen table with little ones !

I use my milk glass large bubble bowls for large salads, too. They are perfect for that.

The nest looked like a rabbit nest because the mommy rabbits pull out their fur to make the nest cozy. They usually burrow a small hole in a garden area and start filling with twigs, fur, etc. I only know this from experience because it happens every year in our garden.

Definitely get another full bath. Not only will it add value to your home, if you ever have problems with your main bath, guests or teenagers in that house you’ll be thankful you have it!

Ah Hilary what a relief that even you sometimes go to bed with a somewhat messy kitchen! I’m currently 9 months pregnant and just the idea of having to go in the kitchen to clean it yet again drives me insane. My feet hurt from being on them all day with cooking and cleaning and just caring for 2 boys! I love all your vlogs and am trying my best to comment on each one of them some days I’m behind, but I’ll get to it unless I go into labor lol I especially enjoyed this vlog because you gave me some useful tips on how to keep up with paper clutter because I definitely struggle with just letting it pile up so thank you! Also again you make me want to go thrifting so bad, but I just can’t make it a priority as I’m just busy with the upkeep of the house and cooking because I could go into labor any day now But man o man do I miss it lol thanks for sharing!- Jacqueline

It is nice to see a family enjoying the holiday season without overdoing it or getting too wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of things! Great finds! I went thrifting yesterday and found some vintage Disney children's books with the records. My kids are grown but maybe one day hopefully I will have little grandchildren. I just couldn't help myself. Lol When I was there I ran into one of my sons old elementary school teachers and she was buying a huge pile of kids pajamas. She said they had a pajama day at school and there were a few kids that were left out because they didn't own any pajamas. Broke my heart. Goes to show how some teachers go above and beyond for their students.

I always vote yes for more showers. Even if its not used daily the times it is used for guests or at other times are well worth it!

It is never a mistake to add another full bath rather than retain a half bath. You will not regret having it and it will give more value to your home. (I was a real estate investor for a decade.)
