On the 4th Day of Action for Cervical Cancer Elimination, the Beat Cervical Cancer (BCC) network—a coalition of Indian NGOs—reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating cervical cancer in India. To mark the occasion, BCC hosted its first webinar, "HPV Vaccination to Protect Generations Against Cervical Cancer – India Prepares". Experts from GAVI, WHO, Harvard, the American Cancer Society, and more shared their insights on India's readiness to support the Government’s HPV vaccine roll-out.
This impactful event was organized by Cancer Foundation of India in partnership with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health India Research Canter, Healthy India Alliance, and the PREVENT Global HPV Cancers program.
