McLaren 750S v Lambo Revuelto: DRAG RACE

It’s time for a Britain vs Italy showdown!

We’ve got Mat in the McLaren 750S, and he’s going head-to-head against Yianni in his Lamborghini Revuelto! The question is, can the RWD McLaren really take down the 4WD Lambo? Let’s take a closer look…

Starting with the McLaren, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 750hp and 800Nm of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the car weighs in at 1,389kg. As new, a 750S will set you back around £254,000.

Then we have the Lambo. It’s powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 and three electric motors. Combined they can put down 1,015hp and 1,062Nm, and this power is sent to all four wheels. The car tips the scales at just under 2 tonnes, and as new it’s a whole lot more expensive than the McLaren, costing around £447,000.

So the Lambo has the most power, but the McLaren is SO much lighter! Will the weight difference prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!

The backstory about this is that this particular 750S actually had a wastegate problem that the owner didn't know about. It has since been repaired under warranty. The car is much more powerful now.

I think you should do a drag race with 1000hp like sf90 / 500hp like m4/c63s / and a 200hp car show the real difference from a normal avg car to performance cars

What's the problem with the 750S? In old races, the 720S managed a 10.4, the 765 LT did a 10 seconds dead. The 750 S should've been between the both, maybe a 10 or 10.2, but it did 10.6 which is worse than the McLaren Artura itself.
