Having a “large mouth” was a disadvantage here. Even if largy initially got the bait, smally was literally inside the same mouth and would’ve been able to vacuum it back to its mouth. Amazing footage

Oh my, one of best shots i ever seen, smallmouth 100% got it, you can see the signature mouth closed crunching the bait with scales leaving his gill rakes as he swims off, and 2nd proof is the largie swims away looking mad lol
