#GelyPostcardPlay Prep Day 2

Join me for Day 2 of my #GelyPostcardPlay preparation series. In this video, I will be sharing my creative process and techniques for adding depth and texture to my postcards.

Challenge details:
Participants are required to share a video (reels and shorts count) or image of a postcard each day for the entire month of July (31 postcards in total).

Only share one postcard per day.

Each postcard must contain an element produced on or by a gel plate. (brayer-off papers and digitals are accepted).

The postcard can be decorated in any style and the gel print element does not need to be the focal point or main element.

Each postcard must show a number to represent the day it is posted upon e.g the 12th July has to have the number 12 on the postcard. The number can be any size and in any format also the number must be on the front of the postcard as part of the image.

All postcards must be 6”x4”, can be either landscape or portrait, if mounted the final dimensions must still be 6”x4”.

Postcard corners can be straight, rounded or snipped.

Social Media and Posting:
Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag #GelyPostcardPlay when posting on any social media platforms.

YouTube creators should use the hashtag in their video descriptions or titles.

Suggestions:
Participants are advised to create playlists for their YouTube videos, photo albums for Facebook, and boards for Pinterest to easily organise and share their content.

Love that forest floor stencil on the smaller plate! I’ll have to try that! It’s motivating watching how you use just portions of stencils to create an effect rather than the entire design!
