I saw him live at a small strip bar in New Haven, Ct back in '97. Black Crows were the opening act and once they're done a big group of high school kids left, so you could get as close to the stage as you like . I guess they came only for the opening act. Black Crows were hot at that time plus not too many American kids knew Michael Schenker.
And that exactly was what I did... standing only ten feet away from my guitar hero watching him play all my favorite songs including the ones from his earlier time with UFO. Lucky me ...
