Every Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood RANKED!

Universal Studios Hollywood is the original Universal theme park, opening in 1964 with the Universal Studio Tour. Since then, the park has expanded to include 13 attractions, with the 14th - Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift - opening in 2026. Today, I'll be ranking every attraction at this park from worst to best, including rides like Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge at Super Nintendo World and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Which will get the top spot? Find out in this theme park ranking.

13) Super Silly FunLand
- just a kids section
12) 4D Theater
- a 4D attraction in a park filled with better ones
11) Secret Life of Pets
- very slow, good for kids, but thrill seekers won’t like it
10) Flight of the Hippogriff
- I hate roller coasters, but objectively this is too short
9) Minion Mayhem
- Great, but the wide room with visible seating takes away from the immersion
8) Waterworld
- Depends on how good the current actors are, but it’s a fun time
7) Revenge of the Mummy
- dark lighting and backwards motion helps this coaster be more intense
6) Bowser’s Challenge
- Great ride, but not worth a 3 hour wait
5) The Simpsons
- Very fun, but is beaten by the rest of the list
4) Studio Tour
- Depends on when you go, but it’s a classic attraction with fun moments
3) Transformers The Ride
- Huge Transformers fan, and the fact that this ride actually moves helps with immersion
2) Jurassic World
- Reskin of JP, a scary, but classic ride
1) Forbidden Journey
- The line moves VERY fast, especially approaching closing time, and it actually feels like you’re flying

Between Forbidden Journey, Secret Life of Pets, and Bowser's Challenge, I never realized how many great queues Universal has built lately.

Simpsons ride is my favorite. I literally felt i was in Springfield, very immersive. And the waiting que, I laugh every time. Its like watching an old Simpsons episode.

Mario Kart topping the list was a surprise, but definitely a welcome one. The queue and surrounding land adds to it a lot. My favorite ride still remains Jurassic World since Jurassic Park was my favorite ride as I was growing up. Really excited to experience Nintendo World in Orlando in a couple years !

2:16 Wrong, there was a ride that was Shrek themed way before this, the pre show had the three little pigs on the celling and only shrek was on the screen. For the actual show, it would be a story that was far from the king fu panda ride, you were the camera as you moved from a third person view instead of a second person view. I don’t quite remember this but it was revamped around 2018 so I don’t doubt there’s plenty of footage to back this up.

I think that the mummy ride is actually better than being on set because it’s one of the only real rides not done or virtual

13. Kung Fu Panda Adventure(Not even close too, but I might’ve liked it a bit more if 3D was apart of it like for Shrek 4D)

9.Waterworld(This show kinda ruins my back because everyone is too cramped together)

My Fav Ride was Harry Potter Journey.

A lot of people I know like the Mario Ride, but I didn't call it a ride, most because I play video games a lot, and that for me was just an awkward VR experience for kids. Wasn't bad, but it was definitely made for fans.
