Oak Hill Academy Hands Chino Hills 1st Loss In 2 YEARS!! EPIC Game Goes Down To The Wire!

Chino Hills vs Oak Hill Academy was one of the best games we've ever recorded here at Ballislife! Chino's streak ended at 60 games in a heartbreaking loss but if these teams played a series it could go either way. LaMelo Ball finished with 36 points, Lindell Wiggington had 35 for Oak Hill. LiAngelo Ball had 23 points but due to a nagging knee injury shot 8-of-35 from field (22 three pointers).

just keep in mind chino hills is a public high school while oak hill academy recruits player across the nation, basically a junior college. still a great ass game though!! not even surprised that chino hills lost. its just the fact that liangelo got hurt early in the game preventing them from paying their usual style making fastbreak plays, but still manages to score 23 points, and lamelo with 36!!! call chino hills overrated all you want, this game proved that they can also compete with all these other nationally ranked teams

Whatever you say they were competing with a top tier magnet private school as a public hs. They lost arguably their best player in their only loss is 62 games. That's pretty telling. Their most criticized player dropped 30 something against a top tier team and defense. This was honestly a very good game for them.

Lol Chino Hills first L in two years and all of a sudden the haters come out feed the comment section 😂 not even a fan of Chino Hills but I'm just saying. And yes, Oak Hills recruiting players makes a HUGE difference. Just makes Chino Hills players even more special. Let's be honest though, it was a good game. Chino Hills is still number 1 team. Oak Hills didn't go undefeated for two years, which means y'all can stop hating on Chino Hills since Oak Hills obviously took Ls before.

LiAngelo is a 3 star recruit for a reason. He wasn't injured in the first half. If I am correct, he "hurt" his knee in the 3rd quarter. Shooting 22 3's and like 38 shots total or something, and dropping ONLY 23 shows. Plus watch him defend. Watch him care about the game. Watch him make a good pass. Watch him not cherry pick. Oh wait, you can't because he doesn't defend, or pass, or have heart at all. And all these kids that back him up and wanna be like him are gonna bring the downfall of basketball. Watch the tape. Basketball is changing cause of LaMelo and Steph Curry jacking up shit from 30 feet, and all the kids wanna do it now. Watch Oak Hill. They play such good basketball. Notice all of their shots are open jumpers or open/slightly contested layups. About time some team brought justice to Chino Hills, and to basketball in general. Props to a large win streak, but it's hard to respect when they are such a selfish team. If Oak Hill goes on a 60 game win streak, then THAT is good basketball and hella props to them. It just sickens me to see people back up these guys so much. Yeah they're nice and could shit on me and 99% of the people in the comments section, but that doesn't mean I can't critique their selfishness, sloppy, and flat out bad representation of basketball. Oh and one last thing, even the refs in this game tried to throw it to make Chino Hills win. That bullshit loose ball call in the last minute, the technical foul for delay of game. Hell of a game, Oak Hill.

Reasons Why LiAngelo Didn't Get Off

1. Oak Hill didn't allow to him Cherry pick and shoot open jumpers.

2. He can't man handle everyone else down low.

3. He can't create his own shot well enough off the dribble.

4. He's as slow as molasses.


So just imagine him at a D1 college where everyone is fast and strong he'll get eaten alive on both ends of the court.

Chino Hills is definitely one of the gold Standards for Public Schools. They're really showing the world that high lvl recruits can come out the most common places, not just private schools. Respect to Chino Hills

their defense is a must. they have to correct their defense because there were a lot of plays that weren't contested or players not in the right position. it was a great game and Oak Hill played well also.

I feel like the chino hills bigs weren't as productive this game as they were in previous games. Eli Scott, at times, looked tired and breathed and didn't hustle back on fast breaks. He also had trouble with the oak hill bigs and couldn't easily post up as he normally does. Not saying they could've won if they played harder but it is clear he is a definitive factor to this chino hills team.

I like how people are saying Chino Hills got "exposed". I'm from Virginia and have seen Oak Hill play, they are no joke. They recruit heavily throughout the country and also produced a man by the name of Carmelo Anthony. Props to Chino Hills for staying ahead for most the game. Im sure they aren't too sad about their win streak. Id rather it be Oak Hill than anybody to break it.
