A tourist lost her grip and fell from steep steps on Huashan in China. She escaped serious injuries after being caught by several others below.

Too many people go up at once, but it does not help as there should be someone at the bottom limiting the timing of people going up and, at best, doing it slowly in a timely fashion

I looked closer at the fall and it looked unnatural. If you pause it she had two feet on the step and two hands on the chain. Then she does a weird hop (not step up) motion before falling. It's almost like she was trying to fall on purpose. Weird.

If she was unharmed then how what about the others she landed on? She aint small.

Scary stuff! I wanted to climb Mt. Huashan all the way back in 1988 (yes, 35 years ago), but my friend and I were dissuaded by locals, and they didn't want to show us how to get there. I didn't help that we couldn't speak a word of Chinese.

I took the sky tram to ascend, but descended by climbing. Tripped myself and was sliding down for about 10 steps toward the turning point, almost fall off the cliff if I didn't hold keep my grip on the chain, the chain is hard to hold on to when you're sliding, your hand would get numb because how bumpy it shape while sliding through your gripping hand

i was there! that is not the most dangerous hike at huashan! climbing along the cliff on curved steps and wooden boards will really give you an adrenaline rush and scare you half to death!

They really should not close that route! That is history! It's beautiful and it should be preserved! ❤ They don't need to add precautions, but maybe tidy up the steps with some chiseling.

Luckily she fell sideways instead of pushing the next guy below down with her. If the guy below get pushed down, he could drag more people with him too, causing cascading domino effect!

Choices. If you decide to do these types of things you know the risks. It's not for anyone else to tell us we can't do it. Do we all need to be treated like children now? No accountability. Everyone want's to blame someone else 🤦🤦‍♂🤦‍♀
