Part 2 of Answering an Atheist's Accusations Against God. This one deals with David's sin of numbering the people and God's judgment that resulted in the killing of 70,000 men.

You are right. God gave man free will. True love of God comes from the ability to choose to do so. The people that are in Hell are there because they have choosen to be there. They desire to be without God, and so shall they be for eternity.

God is perfect in all He does. He sees all and He knows all. He allow things to happen for reasons that we sometimes just don't know. He has a plan and His plan is in effect. Saying that He knew man would sin and disobey did not stop Him from creating us anyway. Even though my parents knew I wouldn't be perfect they had me anyway. This is how it is with God. We were perfect and we fell and lost that perfection, but the day is coming when we will be perfect again.

His plan was for us NOT to be condemned. His plan was for us to live a sinless and perfect life. WE messed that up, well, Adam did. When Adam ate the forbidden fruit, all creation fell. In Adam we all die. Jesus was the second "Adam." He is the only perfect Man to have ever been born and only He could die for our sins and pay the price for our sins because He was perfect. He was sinless. He was holy and He was pure. He is STILL all this, even now.

His command to love Him is just that - a command. Trust me, Jesus is not sitting around in heaven wringing His hands in despair because you won't turn to Him. The Gospel is more than a suggestion, it is a command. And those who believe it and follow it and repent and turn to Him are saved.

You just said we can't know the ways of God. That's what I've been saying all along! God wants us fully dependent upon Him for everything and we when take our eyes off of Him and focus our attention back on ourselves, we will lose the "battle" every time! They didn't go against this enemy because they were scared and didn't trust in God to deliver them!

God could have forced us to obey Him, but He didn't. God does not force Himself on anyone. He knew we would fall, and He made a way for us to still be redeemed.

In the Garden, before He was taken prisoner, He prayed for the cup to pass from Him. That cup was the symbol of divine wrath against sin, Christ would bear the sins of many the next day and the fullness of divine wrath would fall upon Him. This is the price of the sin He bore and He paid it in full. Jesus in His humanity surrendered His will to the will of the Father in all things. There is no conflict between the Persons of the Godhead here.

God knows who those that are seeking Him. He will make a way for that person, for all persons, to come to know about Him. He will see to it. No one is judged or condemned unfairly. God is the most JUST Judge there is.

1 Peter 2:23 - "and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously"

And like Jesus did, we are to entrust ourselves to Him who judges righteously.

The other "gods" are impotent compared to God Almighty. They are only fallen angels and the only power that they have is what God ALLOWS them to have, and they deceive and corrupt man into believing in them instead of God. It's a spiritual battle and we must choose whose side we are on.

Satan wants to take as many of us with him that he can because he not only hates God, he hates us because God made us in His image. Satan wants to be worshiped, he wants to be God. The fallen angels seek the same thing - worship. They may be fallen but they are STILL angels and they still have the abilities they had when they were created, only they use those abilities to corrupt man and deceive man into following them and worshiping them and defy God as they do.

God loved us and knew us before He ever created us. And because of this love, Jesus gave His life for us. We don't know the ways of God. Remember the verse at the beginning of the video? His thoughts and ways are not our thoughts and ways. He knows what He's doing and what He is going to do. He knows what is going to happen in the future because He HOLDS the future.

Because deep inside of us, whether we admit it or not, there is the knowledge that there IS a God. God is holy, no other "god" can compare to Him. No other "god" is more holy, pure and just. And no other "god" ever died for your sins as Christ has done.

Christians seem to conveniently forgot that they are also claiming Jesus is this Same God. Its not like Would have Forgot his purpose on earth or would have been blinded by pain enough to say 'Why have you forsaken me?' You mean he didnt know his pain was temporary and And it was Necessary for him to forgive all of us that he created being born condemed to hell?
