Surprisingly worth that much.
I'm sure you'd have to pay more for a mildly-sporty Mk1 or mk2 2-door Escort or even the later crappy XR3i/RS1600i.
Even V8 SD1s seem to be going for quite a premium now.

How much would depend on condition and what engine.

That seems like a huge price range for the same car - £7.000 - £18.000.

insanely undervalued - why not sell your Escort and buy half a dozen V8

What i dont get is stags in dealers are way over priced even a nut and bolt restoration, which I would call concourse are not £24000, but are £35000 to £40000. And I seen a lime green stag which was restored. And it was £10500, few days later, dealer had it up for £16000. Dealers are just over pricing them? And that candy apple red stag what is its value though it might have cost 60k doesn't mean it is worth that, so what was its

The Stag was very poorly engineered however beautifully looking it was. I have been tempted to buy one twice but discarded the idea in favour of better and more sensible models.
