Historic Town of Goslar & Rammelsberg Mine - UNESCO World Heritage Site

The UNESCO World Heritage site of Goslar is an historic town in northern Germany. Featuring very well preserved timber framed buildings, a beautiful old town, and an imperial palace, it's a fantastic place to visit. Just outside town is the reason for its wealth and fame - the enormous Rammelsberg mine which was mined continuously of gold, silver and copper for over a thousand years. Definitely a fascinating spot!
