Garrett Roe apologizes to the Northrup family and his own family, during his sentencing hearing at Washtenaw County Trial Court. Roe plead guilty in the drunken driving death of Chelsey Northrup. Roe was sentenced to two to 15 years in prison.

I expect like many drunk drivers (as well as drivers who text or use a phone while driving), he thought "I'm OK to drive", or "I'm careful".
Even the most experienced driver on Earth, isn't _guaranteed_ to never have an accident while drunk.

I would never drive drunk but fuck.. If I made a mistake on the road that cost someone else their life I couldn't live with myself.. That's heavy man..
