We have been having a huge surge of River Otter attacks on humans and dogs in South-Central Alaska as of late. Lots of pets and kids have had to go get rabies shots

I once saw a snapping turtle while riding my bike, I decided to take some pictures but kept my distance and after taking a couple pictures, I continued on my bike ride

I appreciate you using impervious to describe a honey badger's skin towards bee venom. So many use the word "immune" which would be incorrect. Honey badgers have died of multiple bee stings. They're just so determined that they'll keep on going unless they've died or had their fill.

Cats’ scratchy tongues are similar to the throats of Penguins and Turtles. I almost got bitten by a snapping turtle, as a child.

That snake had some real "cajones" trying to eat that porcupine! I don't think it was worth it!

Do a video on the most nightmarish looking animals on the planet. I already know 3 aquatic animals that just as such, lamprey eels, bobit worms, and hagfish.

I love how the crocodile was so fed up with the otters' BS that it just peaces out from just simply being annoyed.

About the parasitic wasp 0:49, wasp larvae can spin their own cocoons. The caterpillar does get protective of the wasp cocoons as it eventually dies. Another amazing fact is that tomato plants produce chemicals to attract these parasitic wasps when the tomato hornworm moth larvae consume their leaves.

When I was about 9 years old, I accompanied my father to the funeral of a friend of his, someone who I didn't even know.

When we got there, I stayed in a corner waiting for the time to pass.

Then a man approached me and said, 'Enjoy life kid, be happy because time flies. Look at me now, I didn't enjoy it.'

Then he passed his hand over my head and left.

My father, before leaving, forced me to say goodbye to the dead person. When I looked in the coffin, I was horrified to see that the man in the coffin was the same man who had spoken to me!

I was so traumatized I couldn't sleep properly. I had terrible nightmares. I was terrified of being alone. I couldn't sleep without a night light for many years.

I saw many psychologists, endured much turmoil throughout my adolescent years.

It got better as I aged, but I would still occasionally wake up screaming in fear.

Years later, I discovered something incredible that changed my life.

I love the animals that have camouflage like the moths. If that one weren't outlined, I never would've seen it. Some of these animals tho, are the stuff of nightmares

11:15 actually, it's NOT honey badger's thick hide that protects it from stings, it's related to pigs and another species or two that have mutations that make them almost immune to venom, and mother badgers train their young on weak venom insects like baby scorpions to build tolerance. their hides ARE super tough though
17:00 I KNEW IT! A few years ago, I kept chasing a pelican that I was sure was trying to sneak up on one of the sleeping ducks and gobble it! It didn't forget me either. It cursed me out from a tree a couple weeks later.

A neighbor told me about a turtle walking up our street. I knew since we were in a dry spell that it had left a pond not far from us. Myself and boys went out to see it. I told my oldest son not to get close to it while I called animal control to move it to a bigger pond. Well my son didn't listen and it stripped off several layers of skin from the base of his thumb. It was a alligator snapping turtle. I said well you should be thankful it didn't take off your thumb and next time you will trust when I say not to touch.
