Pretty much a let down from the initial promise. Apart from the no FX fees there is really no use for this card. And we already have a few credit cards that offer the no FX Fees such as Scotiabank and at least then there’s still some points being collected.

Difference is, Venmo is not insured where as WealthSimple is Insured. If Venmo kicks the bucket and goes bankrupt, all your money is gone.

I get mine within the next few days and was really excited for the metal card given no others brokers offer it. I have the cobalt card as well which is comparable but as you said only offers cash back on weekends.

I had much higher expectations of this card. The Amazon Visa Card is probably what I will use for foreign exchange versus this card plus I get 2% cash back on Amazon purchases
