honestly it seems like they didn't want to make the black bay pro thinner with the 58 gmt on purpose because it may have swayed people from buying the Rolex Explorer 2

I'm mad Oleg. Really mad. The Tudor Black Bay Pro with White dial is "The Watch" I have been waiting for, for a long time. I thought there would be no way Tudor wouldn't use the new BB 58 GMT caliber for a newly designed Black Bay Pro case this year. I was counting on it. This is ridiculous! The Black Bay 39 GMT is almost 2 mm thinner. Heck, even the Pelagos FXD is over 2 mm thinner. Buying this newly released Polar Black Bay Pro is like going to the Apple Store to buy a new Apple Phone 8!

Rocking a 6.9in wrist here, I've been hanging out for new colourways on the BB54 for two years (cue BA-BOW game show SFX). Seeing this new iteration of the BB58, though, I'm thinking I'll hold out until Tudor rolls these changes - METAS, lollipop seconds, reshaped crown, T-Fit, slimmed down 11.7mm case - along the entire BB58 line... they will SURELY bring the BB58 Blue to the same specs as the new burgundy, right? And soon?

The Ultra is fantastic. The reduced text on the dial and the more aggressive knurling on the bezel are wins for me. Could do without the baby blue writing on the dial though. Looking forward to seeing this one. The BB68 as well, nice to see the omission of the rivets on the bracelet, however neither colorations appeal to me.

I think the reason for them not releasing a slimmer profile gmt is to keep the exclusivity of the 58 series (ie slimmer) if all their new releases start having the same case and dimensions they wouldn’t be able to sell their watches as “different” models

BB58 burgundy caught my eye the very first time I saw it. Extra -0.2mm thickness is nice. Selling my CW Twelve titanium (as it makes my wrist ache) so those funds might go into one of these in the future.

Polar BBPro was supposed to be the one, now I'm left with mixed feelings. It looks *perfect* from above. I probably need to see it in the metal but was hoping for 58 size which looks perfect in person

This is just my clarification on the thickness of the Burgundy BB58. This one is the Metas version, whereas the regular BB58 is only COSC.

I love Tudor. Even though I won't buy anything from this year's releases. I am going to buy the BB Pro black dial. I think they want the Pro to have a tool type persona/positioning, whereas the BB58 GMT looks and feels a bit dressy/fancy. I have tried them both on several times and that is how I feel about them.
