The Idahoan shares his paraphrase of the 76th Psalm.

From God’s dwelling place in Zion goeth forth His fame:
As He is renowned in Judah, so let All men fear His name,
For all His excellence in Glory surpasses Earth’s most wondrous clime!

When mighty men and stout of heart gather themselves to war,
With bows and arrows, swords and shields, and chariots galore,
At God’s rebuke they all lie down, to sleep forevermore!
Their swords and shields are shattered, their chariots are crushed,
All their goods are spoiled, the noise of battle hushed!

For when the Lord is angry, who can His wrath withstand?
When He sits in judgement, all shall bow to His command,
And His judgement brings deliverance to the meek of all the land!

Yay, the wrath of men and nations God allows only in measure,
When it brings Him glory and accomplishes His pleasure:
Otherwise, it comes to nothing as His own He doth deliver!

Rebellious kings and nations, at His will He doth uproot,
Wherefore, fulfill your duty to Him and His holiness salute,
And render unto God all glory and tribute!
