Sara is in law school, so she moved back in with my parents to save money. During the week Sara works and go to school, during any free time is spent studying. On the weekends Sara ready to get out of the house and go have some fun. Sara's mom gets mad and says she don't spend enough time with her and she's just using her house as a “hotel."

How can Sara compromise with her mom so that she doesn't feel left out?

Steve is right, as a mother of four, my time to create valued traditions was during those 18 years. I love that my children organize family dinners/outings/bdays and such on their own and invite me. Hearing my daughter tell me I am her best friend and she cherishes our relationship was everything I hoped for and way more than I ever expected. That is priceless. Let the good people (you raised) be who they were meant to be. Being a mother of adult children is only a title. Having great connections and honoring our adult relationships is a gift. It is a different joy than when they were babies and depended on me. Now I get to be there as they walk their sacred path and serve as their advisor. IF and ONLY IF they call on me.

Omg, she would drive me crazy! And Steve is absolutely right! Do not try to start traditions when your kids are adults, traditions are started when you kids are children, that's why they are traditions, you start them when your kids don't have schedules so they know when they do have a life they can build it around that tradition. Now you miss your daughter and want her to spend more time with you? It's too late!

traditions are instilled when kids are small so that when they grow up they can build on them. that being said when he said lady be quiet, that whole segment had me in tears 🤣🤣🤣

The child is in law school!  Give her a break! She would do better living away from her parents, but since she is at home, mom has got to give her daughter room to study, work, and let off stress. Law school is no joke and extremely stressful. Mom, give your child some breathing room! She'll come back around after she passes the bar exam.

3:31 "that's fine" translates to "after embarrassing me this much on TV, just you wait till we get home"
