Those were the days. I hooked hundreds, if not thousands of pup sets. I liked backing the gear hooked to the front trailer. After 20 years, I retired almost 3 years ago and don't miss it at all . Ya'll be safe.

Excited to get back into LTL. After 10 yrs at Conway, I left there and had food service jobs and then over the road. I have an interview tomorrow Thursday with Saia. I should have never left LTL.

Day Linehaul?? I had a mishap on the the dock and got canned from big ole blue red (fedex freight) about a year ago. I now work at r+l and made the mistake of working at a dead end terminal with only 10 linehaul runs no day linehaul of course ;(.. How long did it take you to get days there at saia? I was very close to getting a assigned day run out of my old barn at fedex and remember filling in for day guys and loved it. It was life changing to be able to sleep at night and actually enjoy my weekends! You seem to be around my age which gives me hope if I could get in with the right barn. Oh and don't say be a city driver lol.
