MASSIVE 600 GALLON CENTRAL AMERICAN CICHLID TANK

Today's video is a tour of a 600 Gallon Central American cichlid tank from MBL Aquatics. This incredible cichlid aquarium is a Central American biotope, with a wide variety of cichlids, including many rare species.

Mike from MBL Aquatics on Instagram was kind enough to give us a tour of his huge tank, stock list and filtration of this Central American cichlid aquarium. It has always amazed me, that no matter how large the tank is and well stocked, that the fish always seem to recognize that a new fish has been added and have to check the new fish out. Great video!

That tank is scaped very well. Very nice selection of fish and I like the fact that they all come from the same biotope. He’s going to need every bit of space in that tank when those fish reach maturity.

Wow beautiful tank and aqua scape. I have a 600 also that I'm putting together this week. My tank is acrylic and filtered with four FX6 canisters. Good luck with that gorgeous tank and many hours of viewing pleasure.

Awesome tank. Beautiful cichlids. I worked at a pet store, The Fish Place. The best job I ever had. Kept hundreds of different species. Keep up the great work.
