7 locks, 3 cats & 1 thrilling magnet rescue | peaceful cruising day on our narrowboat

After last week's stress-fest, in this week's vlog I'm positively horizontal with how chill I am. What a difference a few locks make, eh? Once the fear of the unknown was gone, it was basically absolutely fine. Practice really does make perfect.

In this episode we take our narrowboat through Buckby Locks and eventually arrive at Weedon. Featuring a surprise magnet rescue, the joys of making lock friends, boat cats, and once more our Special Guest, Rosemary (Andrew's mum).

That goose lamp you teased at the end of the video in the antique store looks like a vintage HEICO goose night light. The original design dates back to the 1970s and should be about 50-60cm. The design is still in production today, and new models retail for about £120-150, but an original in perfect working order might be collectable.
