Hi there. I am having a lot of trouble with my edge explore. I am a new rider so it's probably user error. I'm riding with a group and they send out a ride with gps course before our rides. I have successfully got those loaded (with the right file type... I called support). But I swear it's not giving me turn by turn. Do you have a recommendation for a good video to help with this or any ideas where I can get some help?

The first American I’ve heard pronounce route properly 🤣 I have 2 Garmin bike computers and the Edge 530 is driving me crazy. I did a ride last weekend on a Saturday yet it recorded it as previous Thursday evening even though it was a morning ride. Trying to edit it on Strava was a nightmare

Does the Garmin Edge Touring Plus display basic types of habitats (like forested areas and wetlands) like the Garmin eTrex 22x or 32x GPS? Your input will help me make a well-informed shopping decision!

I've had the Explore for a couple of years and thousands of KM's. My longtime review: an underpowered device hobbled by clunky software and short battery life with too many features and not enough of 'em working satisfactorily.

Being a tourer, I ONLY use the navigation features, turning off widgets, Bluetooth, with no ANT+ sensors, and even then I incur regular freezes and crashes. Several firmware upgrades have not delivered any notable improvements to the user experience.

I can't recommend this device.

If timing and meeting your wife is so important, why not just pick up the phone and call her? You need a phone connection for live tracking anyway.

And why are you wearing sunglasses? It makes the video very impersonal and it’s like you’re one of the dark glasses wearing trolls on Twitter.
