Singapore Airlines is known as the best airline but things can always happen with the fluctuations in the weather. The captain was very good at deciding to make an emergency landing in Thailand.. Seeing the good help of Thailand, I feel admired and everyone. Very country should do the same help when emergencies like this occur.🙏

Severe turbulence is terrifying! It’s amazing how the planes hold themselves together.

Flying is safer than driving. The highway is very dangerous beyond what people think compared to flying

Keep your seat belt fastened throughout flight. Result = no injuries! Duh!

Turbulence (even so called “severe” turbulence) in most cases, is not dangerous to the plane itself (that is the plane’s structure and so on). But it can be VERY dangerous to the occupants inside the aircraft, especially if they are not restrained properly!

So we're reporting from Newark, NJ. Bradley this is terrible.

Turbulence is common in commercial air travel. No aviation is perfect & it is your choice whether you choose to fly or not.

Normally turbulence is associated with moisture raising and sinking in a weather system. Clear air turbulence is just raising and sinking air with no moisture. An airplane’s modern weather radar can detect water droplets using Doppler radar to detect weather turbulence, but not clear air turbulence.

When flying ALWAYS have your lap belt on. Even eating you might have it loosely fit. But, still on.

"Air turbulence can be dangerous." Thank you for that groundbreaking reporting from Newark, NJ Interviewing random travelers. Certainly there are awards for this type of journalism.

According to reliable sources people were screaming and running everywhere. Several actually soiled themselves (defication). It was absolutely horrific.

Very scary but glad the plane landed safely. Does make you realise how much turbulence a plane can take and still stay in the sky, so although it must be a horrible experience you’ll get through it if you’re buckled up.

There is no such thing as an "air pocket." Passengers, unless you're going to the lavatory, keep your seatbelt fastened!!!

negligence from pilot? coz usually pilots from planes flying ahead of them would warn in the radio 10-20min ahead for turbulence

Of course, the turbulence would scare us to fly. Therefore, I tried not to fly much, not to be scare.

Fell into an AIR POCKET? What, were they traveling in water? Aircraft are designed to fly in air! What does this mean, an "air pocket"?

That small shakes before the turbulence should have the pilots on alert ? and issue the seat belt sign ? Stop serving breakfast perhaps ?
