The Simpson T3 knot you recommended is totally my favorite! But this is a close second - very comparable.

At the moment I am enjoying my Omega GT McLaren Synthetic shave brush. Though I will say the Simpson T3 you suggested is an awesome shave brush as well. The synthetics have truly become game changers. I still have my original cheap badger brush but it is put up and unused. Just can't get a lather like you can with a synthetic.
