You can disable head tracking by long pressing on the volume control in control center I’m pretty sure, just slide the spatial audio thing to “fixed”

I started a fitness journey on January 1st, 2021. I was a competitive swimmer throughout high school so I was pretty fit. But when I started university and stopped swimming in 2014 I fell out of shape quickly and I was just not healthy over the following 6 years with 2020 being a real low point. So, for 2021 I decided to turn it around and I started running. I have now lost 30 lbs, and am back much closer to the best shape of my life.

I started running about 7:00/km over a 3-4km run, but now I'm consistently running closer to 5:00/km and I'm able to keep that up over 10-15km, and even ran my very first half marathon in 1:54:00. I know I still have a lot of room to improve, but I'm quite happy with how I've progressed so far.

Once you start and get back into that groove, you'll find it hard to stop. Keep pushing yourself, but remember to listen to your body and recover when you need to.

Tbh I was 295lbs and I went down to 253lbs but I’ve been stuck there and can’t seem to lose anymore but I know I can work harder and by Jan 25th I have to be at 225lbs that’s my challenge and my mile run is 12:27 I’m horrible but I’m working on it cause it use to be at 18 minutes

For the AirPods 3 issue, when playing music, swipe down to bring up the Notification Center, force touch the volume icon, then switch “spatialize stereo” to off. Hope that works!

Also you have to adjust it PER app that delivers audio. So spatial audio will be the default for music, YouTube, audible, appletv etc. and you have disable it on the apps you don’t want it.

Not gonna lie, my favorite fitness motivator on the Apple Watch that I do is doing a bunch of Apple Watch competitions with my friends. The peer pressure works wonders so whenever I am getting off my kick I do a new competition and I am too competitive not to try to win.

In August I made the decision to get active again. It also pushed me into getting the Series 7 to help with workout tracking etc. It had been years since I had been active so I was ambitious with choosing to run a 10k 14 weeks later. Paying the entry fee and setting that goal was enough to get me training 3 times a week and improving every week. I ran into some knee/leg issues and didn't quite meet all the goals I set...but I finished the 10k and have kept going. Set those attainable goals to keep the momentum going. Great Job!

Yeah, Sara! You can do it! I so want to get back to working out again. I used to be super fit until I started being a YouTuber, and I really miss it, lol.

You have to disable the spacialize stereo by long clic on the volume sliders in the control pannel

I never use spatial audio for that reason. Walking around and turning corners screws it up all the time. Also I just started running recently as well!

Glad you're getting back into fitness, BUT I got the Apple 7 watch and don't work out due to age and disabilities. I use it mostly to keep track of my health by monitoring O2, heart rate, etc. While they promote it for fitness, it's great for those of us who are "unfit."

I got an Apple Watch in June because I was afraid of turning 35, and I have logged at least one workout every day since. I hadn't run at all since high school, and my very first mile time was 10:37, and it took about 6 weeks of regular distance running to get below 7:45 for 1 mile and 25:00 for a 5k. I just run for totals and overall health, and speed is purely a side benefit. Don't be overly ambitious trying to get to 7:45 in two weeks because regardless of your cardio, your ankles and knees need time to build up. Do elliptical and bike work to get your core fitness up. Take long, easy jogs a few times a week to build up your endurance. Running your fastest mile is a severe punishment for your body; only do it now and then. Try aiming for 5k distances instead; it'll be easier on your body because you'll naturally find a healthy running tempo.
