INSTALL A FLUSH MOUNT USB FOR APPLE CARPLAY & ANDROID AUTO

LETS MAKE THIS EASY
use the best flush mount USB charging port for your Apple carplay and Android auto. the pac usbdma1 is a 6inch flush mount USB port for the car that plugs in the back of your aftermarket car stereo and allows for charging and full data sending so you can properly use apple carplay and Android auto. In this video I show you how to remove the cigarette lighter port and install the pac flush mount USB in the original spot. you also can choose to drill a hole and mount it that way on a flat surface but I like for it to look like it cane with the car so it's more oem. 3/4" hole saw works well to cut a new hole that snaps right into. Run the drill BACKWARDS(counter clockwise) to cut a cleaner hole in the plastic.

So mine is a short usb cable from the back of the system, if I get one of the ones you showed in video, but a longer cable, would that affect my CarPlay? I already tried with a usb cable extender and it was not charging nor connecting to Apple CarPlay. The cable was even long so I didn’t understand
