I’ve been watching Dan since I was 9. I am now 20 years old and this is really taking me back. Never thought a minecraft video will ever bring me back to those days, but this video did just that. I really hope kids these days could have the YouTube experience people my age had. Absolute golden era.

Dan, the daylight sensor works, you just need to understand redstone in minecraft
you'd need 2 discs, because I believe a hopper can put a disc into a jukebox, but you can't eject a disc from a jukebox, so you'd need to override it with another disc. Power the hopper with a daylight sensor in a way that if it's day, the hopper puts the disc into the jukebox, and the disc that was overriden goes into a hopper that transports the disc to the disc hopper, the one that puts the discs in
it's just a theory though, i don't know if hoppers can put discs into jukeboxes

And although my YouTube account doesn't show that I've been watching you for so long, I've been watching you when you had brown hair BEFORE your blue hair, trust me I've been watching for so long. And honestly every video has made me happy - job simulator, you eating a sour lollie (then getting remixed, classic), Minecraft videos, Tomodachi life, kindergarten (also you should definitely play kindergarten 3 when it comes out :D), hello neighbour and so many more series. place a dispenser by the side of the jukebox, then a daylight sensor on top of it. should work (dispenser needs a disk inside to work, also lots of hoppers for it to return to the dispenser when done)

For the daylight sensor and juke box thing to get the music disc to work the redstone is fairly simple.

If you use a hopper below the juke box, you can have it going into a dispenser that points upward to a new separate hopper pointing back into the juke box. From there you can place a daylight sensor on top of the juke box and have two redstone running out and down to the dispenser. This allows the music disc to play as soon as a new day starts. Hopefully all of that makes sense and you can repeat the same steps that I did to make it.

Just a note, you are able to use droppers and hoppers with jukeboxes as of a somewhat recent update. You can place a hopper underneath the jukebox, running into a dropper (that faces another dropper that goes back into the jukebox). Run your daylight sensor into a repeater that runs into the dispenser with some delay and you should be all set. Hope this helps!
