Totally agree, I do the same for the last 30 years. Quality and dry wood makes for great heating.

Good job Chris. And I appreciate how you are pacing the roll-out of your videos to both get a queue back into stock, while also giving your body so time to adapt from your treatment. We have no doubt that in short order, another truck load will be delivered (if not already). The woodyard is really looking smart.

I trim and spray. Them rows look really impressive! There's too many people out there what I call "unprofessional" that sell wood!! Stay safe my friend!!

Morning Chris! All good advice as usual. Trimming around the wood for airflow and also for appearance! To me a neatly stacked row of firewood is like artwork. You gotta keep that on display!!😁 GNI

I understand why you stack like you do. Have burned wood for years your handling of firewood is the way to do it!👍

I do agree with you about letting the wood breathe, but a pallet is only about 4 in. That doesn't work for me here in central Georgia, but 12 in. does. But, I'm "Lucky" to have a Community College nearby for part time help. It also doesn't hurt being a 66 year-old retired framing carpenter with a sawmill. While you can walk between your stack, it would be hard to fit a 42 in Zero turn between your stacks. I'm looking into those billboard tarps for covers. I have enjoyed your channel so far, have to go back the start, and fill in the gaps. So thumbs ups, catch you on the next one!

Nothing wrong in being a neat-nick. You consistently produce and deliver a quality firewood product. Will likely keep your customers for a very long time.

Chris excellent video! I have been cutting and splitting wood for roughly 40 years down in GA. One thing I wanted to mention is the difference between "seasoned" wood and dry wood. Some people use the terms seasoned and dry wood as the same, maybe maybe not. It was passed on to me that seasoned wood is wood that has been down but not split for over a "season". What this means is that the sap and water runs out of the wood and it is now seasoned. Dry wood is wood that has been fresh cut/ split and dried in the sun and wind. Basically two different ways for the moisture to leave the wood. Always enjoy the videos and keep up the good work!

Hi Chris - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. As I've said before - you are the Professor. I agree with your approach, particularly the seasoning without a cover touching the top of the wood. The only tip I would add is that a back pack blower is ideal for clearing away debris from wood stores but you stubbornly refuse to consider one so I have given you up as a lost cause in their regard!!

It just looks impressive when you have everything stacked and neat. I’m pretty OCD about my firewood 😂

I've got alot of "weeds" growing around my woodyard too.
I only cut once a year, usually before Halloween... Go figure lol.
Good night Irene
