Good job. You don't make it as scary as some of the other videos. You calmly provide hope that phone can actually be reassembled properly by a mere mortal.

Excellent video! With all the parts on hand it took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

Perfect tutorial video! searched a lot of videos and this is definitely the best one out there, at first I thought that would be an impossible task and I will definitely fail but lets try it anyway, then following your every step clear guide I didn't even find it that hard anymore and my HTC is good as new again! (just one mistake in the video which is the mix up with the two cables as mentioned in the comments below, I'm so glad I read the comments too) other than that this video and the disassemble video is perfection! You guys are the best! Thank you so so soooo much!

My good god. Thank you for this awesome tutorial. It helped me a lot, and now i have, sort of, a brand new phone! (But the other comments are right. Remember to place the two coaxial wires the other way round at around 6:10 in the video!)

Several of the "clips" and "brackets" have up-facing pins which contact with the back case. Also on the smaller motherboard (daughterboard?) there are more, including the some for the antennaes. I'd reccomnd bending them slightly higher so that the connection stay firm even after repair... otherwise you may have a bad connection when you're done.

I think this is a great video, and I am also new to this.  I followed all the steps and replaced the battery because it was draining fast.  but when I reassembled everything, I can't power the phone on anymore.  When I charge it, the screen comes on and it shows it charging with the battery on front, but I can't power on the phone.  I though I had done a great job up until that point.

Thanks for the very useful video!
But you made a small mistake that caused my mobile having a very very weak wifi signal: you plugged the two short coaxial cables inside, blue and gray one wrongly within each others places, just swap them.

I have rebuilt a damaged HTC One and fixed everything except the unit radio, when inserting sim card it is not recognized at all and in settings under data it says, Disconnected because service unavailable, APN settings are greyed out and I have re-flashed rom reconnected ribbon cables tried different sim trays/ sim cards etc. since the sim card is not detected at all is it likely that the Sim card reader itself is the problem or something more sinister?

I would have run a power on and test things before putting the back cover on again.
In case all doesn't work.

Hello,
I found your videos extremely helpful and replaced my screen assembly. After completing the operation I found that vibration motor was not working and the SIM card is not detected. I'm fine with the vibration not working, but how can I get the SIM card reader working? I (very carefully) reopened the phone the make sure everything was connected properly. I even took the SIM reader out of my old display assembly and plugged it into the phone and still no beans. Is this a fairly common problem? How do I resolve it?

While replacing the coax wires one of the heads came off.  Can we order just coax cables?
