Carols trauma is seriously overlooked. She had to lose all the children she held so close too her heart. It's truly heartbreaking watching her heart constantly get shattered when they die.

So in season 2 the zombies were coming and they had to hide under the cars, Sophia, (the little girl) was crying and the zombies heard her which made them chase her, she had to get out from under the car and ran into the forest. after ages of looking for Sophia they saw her in zombie form

changed from a battered wife, to a very strong woman. ❤

not only did carol get free (in a sad way) from her abusive husband, she barely got the chance for it to be just her and her daughter, she lost her daughter, lost all the kids she cared about, she had to kill one girl because she wasn’t mentally sane to survive the lives they were living. Carol stayed strong, she kept moving and did what she had to - tosurvive for her daughter
