I think that's the only thing I use rotisserie chickens for anymore. And you can make a ton of chicken salad, just with the breast! 😉
There's something so special about fruit in chicken salad! Grapes and apples are both wonderful in chicken salad. 😘
I know we got a little reprieve this week because they're saying it won't reach 100°. But since it will still be in the 90's, I don't think I'll need to get the sweater out just yet. ☺️

Your Chicken Salad sounds delicious. I only use chicken breast meat. I cook it with onion, celery, garlic, salt, pepper and chicken bolluion. I use diced celery, diced golden delicious apple, sweet pickle relish, and mayonnaise. I have never put onion, I will try it. Love your videos.

My chicken salad recipe is basically the same as yours, but instead of grapes, I use dried cranberries. Yum!

I worked in a deli many many years ago and we made savory chicken salad. While seasoning our chicken with salt, pepper and a little onion salt and celery salt then we added a little sage. Then when grinding our chicken we added fresh celery, onion and just a small amount of sweet relish! People would come from miles around to buy the Chicken salad.

Hi Catherine another delicious recipe love love chicken salad I put carrots celery and white onion in mine also I use miracle whip never tried it with the grapes my sister-in-law puts grapes in her tuna salad definitely going to give this a try thanks thumbs up always take care

With my chicken salad, I also like to include a bit of paprika and, this may sound odd but it really works, a hint of cinnamon. Really good!

Looks so yummy!! That reminds me of my Mom, she belonged to a couple card groups and they would have a lunch before starting to play the card game, she very often made chicken salad just the same way you have. Memories!!

This summer I tried Arby's chicken salad sandwhich and it was DELCIOUS!! They toasted the bread, and they added pecans and apple. It was absolutely incredible! Want to make it myself but haven't done it yet. Yours looks delicious also, Catherine. I need to get to the store to pick up a chicken and treat myself.

Put what you like in your chicken salad. There are so many options. I generally use produce in season. Just pick 2-3 items you love and stir them in. There was a deli near where I lived growing up that put hard boiled eggs in theirs. It was very good. Nuts, dried fruit, celery, peppers, onions, olives, or pickles are a few items I have had in chicken salad. Have fun with it guys, it's your salad.
