I am shocked by how much I like the Laura Geller baked balanced-n-brighten foundation. This is my new go to. I think you should check it out. I know it sounds like something you wouldn’t like but you may be surprised like I am. I have combo skin. Oily in t-zone and dry on cheeks. This does a wonderful job at hiding pores and does not emphasis dryness. I love it.

Hi Shelly, looks great on you! Your skin is always lovely. I just ordered the new Shiseido foundation from Cult Beauty, it’s supposed to be a glowy serum foundation so might be a good option for us dry skinned folks!

So it’s not just me who can’t stand when brands do a foundation sample in those little flat strips lol. That drives me nuts since I don’t just want to do a swatch, I want to test the wear time! The Glossier sample looks decently generous so I am looking forward to trying it myself tomorrow! 😺

I feel you on the short hair! I have a pixie and love that I don’t have to deal with a lot of hair. It’s so easy to style and go. And I also like having an edge. I l look young for almost 41 and in the mental health field, so I need the edge to be taken seriously.

Really appreciated tonight's Glossier stretch foundation. Now I am wondering if the Hourglass Veil Hydrating foundation would be as good. I'll have to go to Sephora and get a sample of the Glossier. I purchased shade #2, just arrived yesterday. Haven't had a chance to try it but I will tomorrow when getting ready for work. (I prefer sheer/ light coverage) I work 12 hr shifts hopefully it looks good and holds up!
OH! Smashbox just came out with a new foundation, the claims look pretty good. Maybe you could review it? Please and Thank You! ⭐️

Your hair looks fabulous, I like the style and the colour combo, it’s often difficult to get the look you want that’s also classy as we age. I’ve seen a few makeup artists being surprised at how much they loved this foundation formula.

Nice post, thank you. I feel like these very sheer products have about as much coverage as my tinted sunscreens. Just not a big draw for me.
