I did this last September (2022). Beautiful. Lots of fun. The ladder is easy of course and only takes less than ten minutes if you’re slow and taking lots of photos. The entire via ferrata took about 3.5 hours up I think. So this stairway to heaven part is just a tiny piece of the whole climb. Overall a longish day up and back down. Nice Bier once you’re back at the alp restaurant.

I’m an avid rock climber/hiker and I would totally love to do the ladder but that second part when you’re walking up the side of the rockface I probably would never do 😂 idk something about that just makes my stomach turn
