My daughter is half Jordanian. She says Omid is full of ish! She has never felt prejudice for her mixed ethnicity….and that is in the U.S. post 9/11. She said if you are looking to be a victim, you could twist someone’s comments but that is the “victim’s” desperate need for attention.

Scobies’s name is not foreign. His father is Scottish and Scobie is a classic Scottish surname. His given name is Persian(Iranian) from his mother’s side.
