Solo Wild Camp | 1st time use of the MSR TINDHEIM 2

Welcome back to the channel guys, its been a few weeks since I was last out, I was back working away in Scotland, and after scouring Google earth I found a peach of a place slightly north of Glasgow.
Armed with a my new tent an Msr Tindheim 2 I headed on out for a school night solo wild camp.

Round two of of mine and Gezs @boyzinthewood1 cooking challenge, it was his turn to choose and he chose a toasty, I decided to make a sour dough 3 cheese fillet steak and balsamic caramelised shallots with Dijon mustard toasty.

Cheers Alan and congratulations on having a brand new and roomy tent! As you say there is a trade-off between price, quality and weight when choosing a tent. I guess the most important question is: How extreme will weather realistically be when I go tenting? I know a lot of fair-weather campers with Hilleberg tents and they have gone down the wrong lane! As for cooking I think you can do very well without freeze-dried food on short trips, so the imagination is the limit here. If you want a challenge you can try to make brownies on your next trip - it is actually quite easy when you figure out to cook them and you will be an instant winner on a mountain date! Great drone footage over the Loch and yep, a real beast of a tent and it fights back too! Not the lightest of tents but for a 2 man tent it was always going to be heavy, too much for me but a walk in the park for you! Canny price and a pitch in one tent is always a winner for me, especially with the summer we have been having. Not had a toasty for years, unsure why as I love them and that has to be the best one I have ever seen, it looked amazing and hope it tasted as good as it looked. I hate a bloody curry (sorry :o) and I remember watching one guy cook a full Christmas Day dinner out in the woods and it looked amazing too, all the trimmings too, so just to be awkward, that's what I would like to see😁. Nice morning (I wondered where the sun had been hiding), so I sent you a rainbow and some of the rain we have been getting here for weeks one end😂. Hi Alan this place looked gorgeous but oooh watch those tent pegs, my friend tripped and fell on one when she was younger and had about 10 stiches 😳Your tent looked so big inside but ooo a bit pricey at £350 but I guess as a one off buy it would be worth it for the piece. Foid looked great and I love the competition with Gez and yes a curry sounds great😃👍~ Anna
