@MBmixtape That's not really an issue of cruise mode. When you press sync, Traktor will match the tempo to the track that is currently playing. If there is a large difference in BPM between track A and track B, you'll notice the change in speed when SYNC is turned on.

Yes. There are simple 1knob filters for each deck as well as more complex filters in the FX.

@DJBJN No. There isn't a way to do that currently. You would need something like Ableton Live's follow actions to do that.

Love the videos, Peter!  Quick newb question:  Can you use cruise mode in one deck only, or does it have to crossfade into deck B?

@leerag You can set decks C and D to sample decks in the preferences. For the cue points, you want to make sure you have the advanced options panel open. Again, you should be able to set it in the settings. You can watch our video on cue points for more info.

I didn't think you could do this, but then I realized I was over-thinking it. Set fade in and fade out markers on your tracks. Enable the "Activate fade in and fade out markers" in the loading tab of the preferences. Load up 2 tracks and play the first. When it hits the fade out marker the other will play from the fade in marker position.

That should get you going. I may end up doing a video on this actually.

Aright man.Love the videos.I am having a problem with my traktor.The audio symbol is orange in color beside the controller symbol on top of the page why is this and how can i resolve it.

I just want to be able to slide over the fader and have the song in Deck B autoplay, then Deck A loads up a new song.  How can I do this?  I don't want to mess with Cue points for each song...

because im trying to make a huge rearrange of all my music, im worrying that the previous cue points i had set on my music will be gone.

1:01 in the video. See where it shows "Activate Fade In and Fade Out Markers" enabled. Make sure you've got that set correctly.

hey there . I am trying to Dj as a hobby and was wondering how i could cruise mode with 4 decks enabled in tracktor 2 . i can only use 2 decks to cruise mode and when i set a fade in on deck 3 it just replays the first song . plz tell me how to cruise mode with 4 decks . thankyou

thanks a lot for this!!! I get the impression VDJ does it much easier tho. Guess it comes down to whether you want easier (VDJ) or more control (Traktor, ability to set fade in and fade out cues) :D
