Their relaxed and cheerful behavior during the promotional interviews for Fellow Travelers shows that this project was obviously a labor of love. I totally get why both actors said they were anxious to do this series because it is something they wish they could have seen when they were growing up.

Something I wasn't expecting to feel when I watched FT was that I missed seeing a good love story. Nobody makes them any more. And this was a great one.
