Chinese rocket debris has crashed to Earth over the Indian and Pacific oceans, US and Chinese officials say.

China's space agency said most remains of the Long March 5 burnt in the atmosphere, identifying the Sulu Sea in the Pacific as the re-entry location.

Earlier, space experts had said the probability of the rocket landing in a populated area was extremely low.

The uncontrolled return of rocket's core stage has raised questions about responsibility for space junk.

Japan just decided to release massive amount of nuclear radioactive water into the ocean, somehow bbc didn’t seem to be concerned. How do you compare massive amount of nuclear radioactive water with a tiny rocket no matter how big it could be?

Soon the Earth would need a space council to monitor all space related activities. Let's go

Regardless of opinions from any space nation, it should be the responsibility of every space nation and corporation that if they are to participate in space, they must ensure the safety for earths people when things enter into the atmosphere

China is banned from using US space technology and cooperation, so it's a bit unfair to complain that Chinese didn't use the SpaceX tech.
However, if China did successfully reuse the rocket, the headline would become 'Worrying Hi-tech Advance on Chinese Space Exploring'.

Interesting to note that there are many (20 according to an article I read) Falcon 9 upper stages in decaying orbits around Earth that will eventually reenter in some form or other. These could land anywhere too.

1 “In 1979, the 77-tonne US space station SkyLab disintegrated over Western Australia, peppering the area around the southern coastal town of Esperance with fragments.”
2 “So there we have it, Russia and it's commonwealth allies currently have the most space junk circulating space, with the US, China, France and India following closely behind.”
China currently has the most % per flight, but space program younger than US - will get better I’m sure.
