Thanks for this video. I can't get my Launchpad Pro MK3 connected to my ipad even using the camera kit adapter. Is that an official Apple one or is it a 3rd party one? Looks 3rd party. Have no idea why I can't get this to connect. It should... but doesn't. Tried the same thing with Launchpad X. Novation said to use a powered hub as a middle-man.... Launchpad into hub, then a USB Type A cable (both sides) to the ipad. No luck, though. Any idea? Thanks man!

I definitely want to pick up this Launchpad. Too bad all these devices are marketed towards Ableton Live which I do not use anymore, and it is hard to find good information of how it works in tandem with Reaper. I know Reaper is so flexible, it will listen to anything, but will it also drive the lights on a Launchpad and so on? I sure don't know.
Maybe I should buy it one day and return if not okay.

I could really use some help with this. I have an iPad Pro (it has USB-C connector) and the Launchpad Mini MK3 (also USB-C). It works fine when directly connected but I tried it with an external USB-C hub that has USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI, and SD card slots. It has one USB-C port but is only for powering the iPad. Anyway, the Launchpad will not connect to the iOS Launchpad app via its own provided USB-C to USB 2.0 cable. I tried it in both the USB 2.0/3.0 hub slots. It does powers up however and do a light show, but simply does not react to inputs when using the Launchpad iOS app. Is there something I'm missing or is there some sort of other app I need for signal routing, or do I need a different hub? It's really frustrating. I want to use a hub which has several ports and an audio out put jack so that I can connect a MIDI keyboard for virtual synth apps and to run the audio out to a mixer to hear both virtual synths and Launchpad. Any help is appreciated. Anyone!?

Hi nice video! I was interested in picking up one of these up.
Does anybody know if the sequencer work with iOS ?
I could only find info about using the sequencer w/ Abelton If I could use an iOS app for the sound source in sequence I’ll be making the upgrade from my X to Pro.
If anybody has any more information about this let me know!!

Thanks for the video. Do you have any input on mapping the pads or the lights in iOS? Is there a way to do that outside of the components pc app? Also, when using the sequencer, do you ever record that back into a file? Do you use that with AUM?
