Ձախորդ օրերը ձմռան նման կուգան ու կերթան,
Վհատելու չէ, վերջ կունենան, կուգան ու կերթան.
Դառն ցավերը մարդու վերա չեն մնա երկար,
Որպես հաճախորդ շարվեշարան կուգան ու կերթան։

Փորձանք, հալածանք և նեղություն ազգերի գլխից
Ինչպես ճանապարհի քարավան կուգան ու կերթան,
Աշխարհը բուրաստան է հատուկ, մարդիկը ծաղիկ,
Ո~րքան մանուշակ, վարդ բալասան կուգան ու կերթան։

Ոչ ուժեղը թող պարծենա, ոչ տկարը տխրի,
Փոփոխակի անցքեր զանազան կուգան ու կերթան,
Արևը առանց վախենալու ցայտում է լույսը,
Ամպերը դեպի աղոթարան կուգան ու կերթան։

Երկիրը ուսյալ զավակին է փայփայում մոր պես,
Անկիրթ ցեղերը թափառական կուգան ու կերթան.
Աշխարհը հյուրանոց է, Ջիվան, մարդիկը հյուր են,
Այսպես է կանոնը բնական, կուգան ու կերթան։

They Come and Go

Days of failure, like winter, come and go.
Don't be discouraged, they will end, they come and go.
Our bitter griefs and sorrows do not linger with us long;
Like customers in a line, they come, and then they go.

Persecutions, troubles, woes, from the heads of nations,
Like the caravan along the road; they come and go.
The world is like a special garden, and the people like flowers;
How many violets and rose balsams come and go!

Let not the strong boast of themselves, nor let the weak be sad,
Variable number of fractures shall come and go,
The sun fearlessly and unafraid sends forth its beaming light;
The dark clouds float toward the house of prayer and pass.

The earth cherishes the educated child like a mother,
Illiterate nomadic tribes shall come and go.
The world is a hotel, Jivan, people are guests,
