I use sws resources (fx chains) with Radial menu. Double click the TCP which brings up the radial menu, where I organized the plugins by type (eqs, comps, reverbs etc)
Huge timesaver.

You covered a lot of ground there, thank you. Would you do another one covering the Presets function for effects. Would you all so cover how Reaper looks on my hard drive for my Vst's, I currently have them all over the place, I have them in Common files, I have them in Steinberg, I have them in Programs, I have them in Programs(86), in other words they are all over the place as the various plugins and programs seems to put them any where they like.

KENNY! - Is there a way to keep the locations of the plug-in windows as a default? I dont like them opening up on each other and i'd like to put them in locations on the screen as a default location from session to session.

After two years of working with Reaper, I still don't know what the push-pin icon does in the upper right corner of each effect.

That FX browser does not open when I click the FX button, can't see any plugins. Very annoying. No idea how to change it.

Damn.. you skipped importing new plugins. I used Audacity, and loved CLEAR (a remove bg noise plugin). I was also looking at the iZotope suite of plugins.

I have the DLL I want to use in Reaper located in the VST folder C:\Program files\VstPlugins but when I use the FX Options window the DLL I want to add to Reaper does not appear anywhere. What am I missing?

Just a quick question: Are some of the Stillwell plugins gone? In my versions 6 and 7 I can't find any plugins with the Stillwell name.
