I've been riding for years but never really learned the basics, these tutorials have all been great. The fact that you actually are teaching someone who's making a lot of the same mistakes I do really makes your videos vastly better than 99% of the other videos where someone who's been doing these things since childhood is trying to explain something they don't even remember not being able to do. Keep them coming!

I'm a 50 year old guy that fell in love with mountain biking just a few years ago. Your videos have helped me tremendously and have me excited to go play on my bike in the street. (I feel like my neighbors are judging me. Lol) Thank you@

The tenor of so much social media is negative and every time I watch these videos I feel so positive and stoked about going out and learning new skills. Keep up the great work!

Kyle you deliver the instructions without being patronising or condescending, with a genuine sense of sharing, it is wonderful to hear. April you are so receptive to Kyles' advice and instruction you listen patiently and with great focus. It is a pleasure to try to put your suggestions into practice in my riding and move beyond old habits. Congrats and thanks.

As a visual learner I really appreciate you adding in little things like reference lines for hips and rear axel. It helps put things into perspective and drive home the important body mechanics that are needed for these skills.

Watching a person actually learn these skills in a video is great. I'd love to see follow up videos for each skill to see how things progress and can be improved.

i love how patient and supportive you are. the fact that your model is someone who is actually learning and not already a master helps so much as well. you're a good teacher and i can't wait to practice these tips.

Dude. The sticking your chin past the stem. That was it for me. I could sorta manual. And sorta bunny hop but struggled to get the front wheel high enough to get a serious bunny hop. That immediately fixed it. Thank you so much, A+ coaching

Thanks for breaking down to 3 steps bc most you tubers or instructors would just teach front wheel lift, rear wheel lift and just say do it over and over until we get it. I also have to move forward right after manual and do rear wheel lift. Plus right body position before the preloading. Very well explained by Kyle. It motivates me to try after countless failures... Good job April, you get it so fast.

I'm watching this in pajamas and having my morning cup of tea locked down in quarantine, that hyped me to dress up, take out the bike and shred my garden. Right now.

I’m literally in a nearby parking lot watching this and trying it out.

Totally smiled when she cleared that box the first time. Made it look easy and showed really good progress. Lucky to be coached by someone with so much patience and encouragement who also knows his stuff.

My husband has been on the journey of teaching me how to mountain bike and it’s been really great to watch these videos. He’s the Kyle, I’m the April, and everything he’s been teaching me comes together and makes so much more sense while watching! Going step by step from square one has helped a lot!!! Please keep it up! Thank you!

First time I saw the video of April doing manuals on 1st attempt I said "ok easy, I can do better". I sat on my bike and realized that April is much more talented than me! :(
Your videos are really really good, Kyle is very patient in teaching all the details

This video got me from practicing slightly wrong technique, not getting it and being frustrated, thinking I was never going to get it, to doing it properly in about 5 goes - as others have said, great to see a beginnner being coached and progressing - it makes it so much easier for us other beginners! Great series guys, love your work!

Man something that I like a lot is that you keep saying "great job" and " you are doing great" and It keeps her excited about learning more. Keep sending those "How to" Kyle, loving the channel.

This entire tutorial series with April is so amazing! Kyle is such a supportive, patient teacher. It's amazing to have a pro be so genuinely excited over baby steps in basic skills. This also sets the right expectations of progress for the learner, and above all, to really have fun!
Would love to see advanced coaching series for the same skills once April has had time to internalise and have a bit of fun in the future.
Absolutely love the content and positive and caring tutoring.
