I can’t get 2 ground wires in that lower terminal. Is there a trick to it?

You should never connect two wires directly to the outlet. You should be pigtailing those with an extra 6 in wire that you cap off with a connector first, then putting the single lead to the outlet... I'm pretty amateur and I know that 😬

I just ordered on of these for the USB-C capability but are these safe to charge the old style iPhone 7 that typically takes the little 5 watt adapter or would this be to much currant for those?
