FIX THOSE KNEES with Spanish Squats

Показать описание
The Spanish Squat is a powerful example of holding isometrics (HIMA) - where you resist movement by holding a fixed position under load.

They can be a key to improving strength and injury resilience - especially for runners and anyone doing lots of knee dominant loading (Hyrox, weightlifting, track and field, etc).

My knees have taken a beating from years of playing ice hockey and soccer, and I’m looking for ways to recover and avoid surgery. Do these exercises help with strengthening the knee? Also, what type of resistance band do you recommend? A few I’ve owned in the past snapped during a workout, so I’d love a durable option. Thanks, and take care

What if I felt a sharp pain on the weak knee after five sets of these for 45 seconds each. Is that normal? Is there something else I may need to talk to my doctor about or the pain is part of the healing process
