I have measured every 8 pointer wrong, I thought H4 was only for 10pts.+ I stopped at H3 on every single one. Sad part is that it explains it right on the online B&C scoring calculator, I had to check it when I heard you say it.

I haven't experienced it (yet!) but where are your 4 H measurements if you have a symmetric 10-pointer? (or anything more than the sample 8-pointer you presented)

Well my biggest buck I shot was a 7 pointer that was missing the middle beam on one side and it scored 96 3/8 I’m now gonna check it years later lol

I didn't know stickers had to be an inch....I was always told a quarter inch or hang a ring on it....man...mine just got smaller lol.

I don't hunt but love putting myself in the right spots, right time of year and right time of day just driving around cause they are so cool to see. I live in NE Iowa so plenty of nice deer to see! I can honestly say I've prolly never seen (if this is a 130) anything over a 150 in my life. I always felt like I see monsters every year but maybe even a none hunter like myself gets buck fever lol

…my view on hunting is a two-sides mirror tbh. On one side, I understand if you’re hunting to survive, but on the other hand I disagree with hunting for sport like just to have a trophy and score it in state records, ofcourse opinions vary amongst person(s) but just imagine this, you (the buck), your wife (the doe) and your child (the fawn) are just living in the forest with the rest of the deer, and out of nowhere “pop!” You feel a pain in your left rib cage, A human shot you with a 308. Lapua from 700 yards away, it went clean through your lungs, you run off but you don’t hear another shot and you continue to run until you can’t, you fall over and your eyes close, you are still able to consciously think, but you can’t help but only think about your doe and fawn, wondering if they will be okay while you are gone. Again, opinions vary amongst person(s) but I really disagree with humans hunting just for sport especially when we already have massive slaughter houses that feed the nation every day. If the slaughter houses shut down then i'd approve of hunting. not to say the world revolves around me, because it doesn't. but i wish hunters that hunt foe sport would at-least feel sympathy and honor in hunting their deer.

How would you get your fourth measurement on a 7 point when one side has an eye guard, a G2 and then his main beam.

Would the left eye guard split be a deduction, what would make it not a deduction? If both were split?
