I was there a week before this hurricane was even a though. I really like Anna Marie, and this doesn’t look apocalyptic. Just an inconvenience at most. Hope everybody recovers 💯

Was there Tuesday-Wednesday last week, we evacuated and are safe but feel the loss of what people must be experiencing... AMI is an extraordinary place in Florida, not as commercialized, not monopolized by Resorts or massive hotel complexes... I'm afraid storms like this will change the look and feel of things as people will not be able to afford the rebuild or the insurance (if they can get it at all)....

If there were half as many buildings and more mangroves and coastline plants it would be a natural barrier to protect the land. Very sad people have lost alot but at the same time I'm happy nature is reclaiming what's hers.

wonder how to passage key wildlife little island did. it looks ok from sky. odd. hope the wildlife there made it. yea, when ya have just one main basic road all up and down island, right beside the water... oh yea, going to be a problem.
