At least 18 passengers were killed after a domestic plane with 19 people on board slipped off the runway and crashed on July 24 while trying to take off from the airport serving Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. The Saurya Airlines plane was heading from Kathmandu to the resort town of Pokhara.

The Saurya Airlines co-owned by indian company the Kuber Group with an aircraft a Bombardier CRJ plane, en route to Pokhara from Kathmandu crashed during takeoff at 11 am. The plane was carrying 19 people (airline staffs), including crew members.

- It has been revealed the plane was flying to Pokhara for its maintenance and test flight.

- This plane was scheduled to be kept in a hangar in Pokhara for a month for maintenance.

- The captain survived.

To and from NEPAL -INDIA train or road best. Don't rely on Nepal airlines, every month there will be some problem
