I don't have the footages yet for defeating Orin and the Absolute, so I don't have the "endgame" clips yet. But, hey, this took waaaayyy too long than I expected. I had to go over so many clips and compile them haha.

p.s. i forgot to add the "Yes, love?" greeting 'cause my recording kept giving me a distorted sound file. :[

To be honest, most of Astarion's flirt during act1 is just pretending. He plays a role, you can tell he is just reeling his phrases out like he know them by heart. However, there are few scenes in act1 where you get to see the real astarion (not the sex slave that had to lure preys for his master for 2 centuries). To me, those scenes are the real ones where you see him coming to trust and like Tav : the nighty sky scene (when he suddenly fell silent staring at you, astoned), the mirror scene (when he says he wants to know what people see when they look at him, what Tav see), and of course, if you're playing DU, when he gets to help you out through the night (and he says "you've got this, and I've got you").

And to me, the way he progresses over himself and his feelings makes him even more worth fighting for. :3 (Digging for the real Astarion beneath the veil :3)

I like how slowly he falls for you over the course of the story but the minute you’re an official couple he dives right in. Like, no second thoughts, no hesitations, just full on commitment.

Neil Newbon HIT this out the ball park. I will say I love how at times Astarion meand genuinely we are friends and other times he mocks it out of genuine frustration that we are JUST friends.
