Abandoned Tops Friendly Markets - Warren, OH. This was a grocery store for years up until around 2008. It sat closed for a few years before becoming Dave's Bargain Outlet in or around 2013 for roughly a year or so. Aside from a CVS on the side of the building, it has been vacant since.

Oh wait, I found this out in my city, Wally. So, as it turns out, my city has an abandoned tops that closed in 2005/ 2006. It was in Lorain county, Avon lake, and when my parents moved in, it was being used as a spirit Halloween. The tops was a finast before, and it still is abandoned to this day

i have a theory for that stop sign by the loading dock: the stop sign could have been there to be tell where to stop/park your semi truck or tell them to stop because they will be too far from the stopping point.

Thank Giant Eagle for that Tops mostly staying abandoned. They paid the leases for the Niles and Warren stores in order to prevent another grocery store from coming in even though the GEs nearby weren’t corporate-owned.

I currently work at a tops as a self checkout attendant seeing one closed is baffling to me, I’ve always grown up around a tops market.

What’s odd is that corner is very busy so its unusual that it just sits there empty. I live in outside of Warren but own a business that takes me past that exact location 7 days a week plus we shop at Menards and Walmart down the street from there.

This used to be a Tops, but before that, it was a 'Finest' grocery store.
That DIY building you see next door was an old hardware store that closed in the mid 90's
