Apparently the Allied generals were very surprised when they saw the IS-3, as Stalin (supposedly) ordered half of them to be sent to the parade right after they were finished being built

By that time CCCP had 265 active divisions in Europe, americans had 65 divisions and British commonwealth had 35 divisions together in Europe. Germans ended war with 10 weak divisions when they surrended.

To put this into another perspective, when Germany got Czechoslovakia served by western allies, Hitler gained supplies for 38 fuly equipped divisions, more than 500 tanks and also weaponary production facilities like Skoda factories, which had by that time bigger weapon production than whole British islands....

The soldiers marching no doubt felt a great exhiliration at marching with the Brandenburg Gate behind them in the heart of the enemy capital of Berlin, which only five years saw the victory parade of the arrogant enemy. However, I am sure it was bittersweet because I imagine most if not all the soldiers had memories of friends, relatives and comrades who fell in the war.

I believe we can see Zhukov, Patton and Bradley in the reviewing stand. Do you agree?

First the British show off their new Comets, Then the Americans show off their New T26 Pershing which are thier best tanks at the time then Russia rolls out the IS- 3s and the new Comet and Pershing are already obsolete

Oddly enough I think the IS2 had a more pronounced intimidation factor as the turret helped to pronounce the size of the gun. But either way the intimidation worked and most issues in the IS3 could be worked out for when they were needed for war.
